Hi! I‘m Başak – a designer who discovered that experience design was cut out for her.
I studied architecture at Istanbul Technical University. Tracking the journey and experiences of certain potential/fictional users of any kind is familiar to me through this educational process I went through. Thanks to this, I also have experience in observing and analyzing data according to a certain context and collaborating with others in group works.
I am a communicative and detail-oriented person who’s eager to learn new things. I love to explore, probably this is why I love the outdoors & adventurous sports.
Even in my personal life, I am a versatile thinker. Being curious and asking questions in our everyday-life experiences may be fruitful in itself, but I believe taking these inquiries even further and understanding the core of the matter is key in every situation.
I believe that systems have to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing – after all a fair combination of intuition and math is what most inspiring and practical designs are made of.
